A couple of weeks ago i went on what turned out to be a very fruitful (it's always the case with me, somehow!) antiques' hunt.
When i came home, i realized that there was 'fil rouge', a common thread to many things i bought (except for in the suitcase's ...case i wasn't aware of it right away.)
Let me explain myself: the first object was, in fact, the suitcase. while on the bus (where by looking at me you would've thought it was my normal 'purse') i looked at it & realized that I actually stayed at Hotel Bellevue Syrene in Sorrento in 2003.
The photo of the couple was tagged by the antique store owners as 'cute couple', but i knew better, of course.
The magazine bin is from Venice, a church where my Venetian born & briend friend Elena went with me for the first time ever to see great Carpaccio's fresco cycle...
So on the global snobbery index i did well by getting all these objects: being there, done that, indeed!
