Money don't smell, but they...expire!

Well, what do you know! (apparently, I no next to nothing when it comes to some practical stuff & reading the fine print - you call that 'fine''??? there're finer things in life for sure!)
Ever since I came back to the US, figuring out the payments on my pay-as-you-go cell phone has been quite difficult.
Now, I have a pay-as-you-go because there's a real chance I might want to 'go', quite literally speaking. Leave - the country, etc. So 2 year plans are not for me.
However, it's a mad house, or a trap, whichever way you look at it: the money you put into your account expire & to keep them ''alive'', you need to top up & if you, like me, don't talk on the phone that much, the minutes you roll-over will never be used....
Yukes! There are more interesting things to read than the fine print.
And speaking about paying & reading - my new favorite Chicago place is about to be announced...
