Paris in the Prairie: visuals

This is the building I was talking about in the previous post.
Makes me think about many things, & also about the fact that you really don't need to take pictures because tons of other people do it for you.
The only thing that helps to find it later on is to have a good head on your shoulders - good memory. So here is the Dewes Building, Chicago Architecture Landmark.
Part of the reason I stopped taking pictures is because it feels like I am spoiling the moment of discovery or simply enjoying looking around. Plus the most interesting things are always 3D: juxtapositions, smells, temperature, unusual angles... For example on the other side of this mansion there was another vintage, 1920's building (apartments for rent there!!!) of a Moors meet NYC style.
Quite amusing!
